How do the 88 generals justify their endorsement of a draft dodger?

I’d like to see how the 88 retired generals who endorsed Trump explain that to all the POWs that he denigrated when he said that they weren’t heroes in his book.  Or how they look soldiers who were awarded Purple Hearts for their injuries in combat after he said to a veteran with one “I always wanted one.”  Or what it means to support someone who obtained seven draft deferments before being declared 4F for that life-threatening condition called bone spurs.  Explain that.
