The Ferengi Candidacy of Donald Trump

When Donald Trump recently said that if he didn’t win the Presidency that he thought his entire campaign would have been a waste, he was simply falling back on the Ferengi ethos best summed up in the question “Where’s the profit in this?”  He was bluntly telling his supporters that he wasn’t running because he wanted to change the way government was run or that he thought he had bold ideas of governing.  The only justification that he could cite was his desire to win; it was his “profit” motive.  It was a statement monumental in its cynicism and enlightening as the view into how his mind works.  Comment at fedupwithdonaldtrump.com.
